Byerly wakeboarding

I wonder how many people on here have actually seen byerly wakeboarding footage and not wakeskating footage.

Anyway, this is from the wakeboarding mag site, and this was in their recent issue. byerly's an amazing wakeskater, but absolutely nobody can touch his style on a wakeboard. he's got the dopest looking toeside fronts ever...and a pretty mean board collection too. Cool

His sections in Retrospect are amazing. I was blown away by what he was doing on skurfers and the twin 69 waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when.

He does have epic style on a wakeboard...no one even comes close.

i've always been a fan of byerly since i picked up a board. i always liked ink and stuff and thought he rode cool. his section in hype is insane. doing some gnarly pvc dock sliding. and can we say toe fronts and pete roses. and i'd say he's dedicated to skating considering he's only skated and never even tried closed toe boots even though his company makes them.

electricsnow, Thomas Horrell is the only person close to matching Byerly's style.

That article reminds me of when I first got into wakeboarding and watched my first video, "Monkey on a String" - great Byerly footage and Drew McGuckin throwing down on a skate

I was reading this article hoping he wasn't gonna dip out on us totally i.e. No Toe jam but it looks like he strapped in for the same reason I strap in once in a blue moon. I definitely love his old school style though, it hasn't changed in the last 11 years i can remember.

I was just reminded of his part in 12 honkeys yesterday, love that flick and miss the stoke I had for wake back then. It's actually one of my personal goals for this year, to get that stoke back. I might have to bust out the VCR and watch some old flicks Very Happy

great article. byerly is the man, hope he doesnt bust his knees up while hes strapped in, poor guys got enough knee problems.

RUSSIAN, was it 12 Honkeys or Hype that he had "Simple Man" as his song. Same exact part in both movies but it shows what difference a song can make. Still today my favorite wakeboard video part.

i don't think it's the same part? sure some same footage, but i know FOR A fact diff. videos with diff. footage.
