i just cant help but think how awsome it would be for all of our favorite pros to film a video with the go pro. i mean could you just imagine watching what andy p sees when he is wakeskating. it would be nuts to watch a tre flip or a big flip with one. and it would be extremely informational.

It could be cool with a few different tricks, but I think the POV would get old.

daniel, I agree. Films like aquafrolics and pre pop really did a nice job of being creative with filming angles, which gave the viewer a nice look at what's going on. And I don't necessarily think that a high end camera is what you need to make a good film, but in the case of aquafrolics, I think the quality of the equipment worked in its favor.

I had a friend of mine do a tre flip on a flowboard while wearing a go pro helmet camera. I wish I would have put it in slow motion.

Enjoy,

I guess I missed the boat on this one, but helmet cams are nothing new. Anyone care to explain why Go Pro is so special (or not)?

while helmet cams aren't new... affordable helmet cams are pretty new and that's where the Go Pros shine, imo. For a couple hundred dollars you can get a waterproof hd mini cam that seems to work pretty good. What's not to like? The controls aren't the best but not bad for the money.
