here's an e-mail LF sent out, which is basically the same as the first announcement. there aren't any times mentioned, so maybe keep an eye on the obscura blog. hopefully they'll post some more info on there.

The New Year brings in a new frontier, the slate gets wiped clean from the past’s previous indiscretions and you can spread your wings once again and soar. Most people only soar for about a month after the ball drops and then they are back to their old habits, with plenty of time to start planning next years resolutions. Your friends at Obscura don’t want you to be one of the flightless birds, instead we want to aid you in your flight and make your resolution of riding the best wakeskates on the market come true. Enter Obscura demo days. Throughout the months of January and February your friends at Obscura will be having demo days where you can come out and ride the new 2010 product, hang with the team, watch some demos, get free giveaways, and receive percentage discounts on any of the new gear. Team captains Aaron Reed and Danny Hampson will be at all three of the events and the rest of the team will be making appearance according to their schedules and our whims. The days are sure to be filled with good times and are totally free and open to anyone. Thanks to our friends at Chipotle and Monster Energy, we’ll have free burritos and refreshments for you all day. You don’t want to miss this, so mark your calendars, watch for updates, and get ready to spread those wings and soar!

Hey guys. Sorry to all who didn't get a card. I promise that I sent them to everyone who gave me an address. Apparently the post office can't handle the hundreds of thousands of little cards we bombarded them with, so if you were one of the unlucky ones who's got lost, (I promise I sent it, I think I got carparal tunnel in my hand from writing so much) send us another email to grwakekilla@gmail.com with your mailing address and I will send you another one.

The first demo day is in Clermont Florida at The Wakeboard Camp, Sunday January 17th. The festivities start at 10 and we will go to about 4. Chipotle will be catering the event with free burritos for all that brave the cold water. Check obscura09.com for Dan's official press release later this week.

Obscura, I did get my card! I can say that it's resting safely in my drawer of awesomeness, which also holds my cassette christmas cards, stickers, fins, and other assorted goodies which are deemed amazing. Hence, their permanent home in the drawer of awesomeness.
