Hey, I'm new to the forums, and was about to pick up my first skate today.... was going to get the Kampus K-39 over at evogear but they are now out of stock. The only other place I can seemingly get a Kampus K-Series (2003 model) is on the Kampus website, but is it worth 95$ (cost of board plus shipping), or should I just go for the Integrety once my lake season opens back up or even try to build a flat board modeled after the Kampus K-series? I like the way the k-series is set up and how its really simple... can't be to hard to imitate am I right? Kinda hard to skate this time of the year though when I don't know anyone in Oklahoma that goes to the lake often at this time of the year.

Also, I'm from San Antonio Texas, but live in Norman, Oklahoma during the school year, (I attend the University of Oklahoma), if anyone lives in or around these areas let me know and maybe I can get more into this wakeskating thing. (Only done it a couple of times behind my Sea-Doo)

go for integrity if you can afford it, best one for sure. and i wouldn't make a skate until youve a couple other saktes and you know what you like so you can make the board to your specific needs.

the best part about the kampus skates is that there priced good, and still ride good.

Well, I'm 5'10 165 so I'm not scrawny... But I figured if I was planning on getting an integrity eventually, why not just get it now, but I also want a nice flat deck thats simple to use also, I've heard people my size though say that the Kampus felt too small, and others say it felt good... sooooooo..... I dunno, hrmmmmm, maybe I should wait till the 05 Kampus's are out and pick up an 04 K41

So wait, get the K41 then... probably will have to wait till next season though, no use paying money now when I can't use it up here in Oklahoma, I know George Daniels rode the K39, but any other pros use the K-series also?
