so it's winter time and i need a new project to keep me busy. i have a great winch, but would like to build a better one. i'm looking for some design ideas and engine/gearing set up. i want to make it super light, wheelable, and able to be secured basically anywhere w/o a tree. we need the best throttle control, etc. feel free to throw out your ideas. i also want it to deep water basically anyone. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. | Use a 4x4 ground anchor to secure it anywhere there is soft ground. Think you can get foldable ones too that should be easy to transport. Just make sure you secure the anchor properly. Last thing you want is a runaway winch with a big chunk of ground anchor following it coming towards you. |
