Due to a combination of events that have occurred over the past couple months I have decided to offer EVERYONE who has ever wanted a wake winch one for CHEAP! We've heard of riders posting on forums saying how they are sick of companies building winches and charging a fortune when they can be built by anyone with a welder and some tools. We've also heard of riders saying why can't a company build a winch and sell it for what it actually costs.

That's what I'm here to suggest. I run Ridiculous Winches and we just revamped one of our wake winches to incorporate a clutch with a 6.5hp motor. Because we buy our steel, motors, clutches, bearings, sprockets, and everything else in bulk we are looking to see just how many people would be interested if we were to offer them a brand new winch for $1000.00. We can't afford to do this if there are only a few riders interested but if we really stir something up, I'm willing to commit to the $1000.00 price tag. I am also looking to throw in 600ft of yellow line with a 15" accurate handle. It's not bullet line but hey, it's 600ft of line and it has a tensil strength of 1000 lbs so it will last if taken care of. We've demoed a single spool of it for well over 8 months and it still pulls my big ass up!

I think those of you with winches and those without will agree that this is an unheard of deal. People are selling USED winches with clutches for anywhere from $1200.00 to $1500.00. We're talking brand new, with 2 year warranty on the motor, all waterjetted spool, custom made and machined chain guard, receiver for hitch mount, lexan splash guard, fairlead, grips, air-filled wheels, 40 chain, 56T 40 sprocket, EVERYTHING assembled and ready to ride $1000.00!!!

That would be our delivery van for local surf shops. You caught me on that one. We needed a photo right then and there so we could get going on the vehicle wrap. My bad. haha

Believe me, it gets the job done locally. We've sold these at intersections and surf shop parking lots just because of the van.

We just shipped a 6.5hp/clutch wake winch to Bakersfield, CA for just $225.00 so you can estimate the cost based on how far from there you live. We're shipping the winch from Florida.
