Paul, Razz

every good idea (nuclear bomb, computers, beer etc.) is german Smile

we also had a bi-level in the zweite weltkrieg (see pict). maybe history will tell us that bi-level didn't work - england is still a separate country - the follow up (vergeltungswaffe 2 - what a cool word - could be a name for a new skate: cassette - thomas horrells vergeltungswaffe 2) was a flat thing...

scott a,

computers: remember konrad zuse - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z3_computer

nukes: ever heard about the german pros otto hahn, fritz straßmann and lise meitner? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fission

ok - the bomb itself was developed by oppenheimer - but without discovery of nuclear fission and the help of all the german immigrants you guys won't be wakeskating today... Twisted Evil

el, Laughing

i guess we had that in another topic. that one comes from "deutschland deutschland über alles" - which means something like "germany over all" - which means: "piss off" Laughing

but when i was young - a long time ago - the dead kennedys had that one too - "california ueeeber alles...".

hey - didn't i told you that i've seen the kennedys, sex pistols and sham69 live in those days? Wink

Paul, don't care about me - i'm far beyond it - as an old guy i have to bear my burden with all this young fellows Smile

Paul, if you are visiting Germany make sure to stop in Duisburg-Wedau Smile I guess Duisburg-Wedau is the heart of wakeskating in Germany Smile We have a great obstacle-park with - believe it or not - World's longest rail (i guess they mean: World's longest Cable-rail...) and the Slop - a nice toy for skating. And we do have a very good wakeskating-crew called Romboso (http://www.romboso.com - they have some very good riders like Denis Knasiak who is European Champion and riding for LF.

Just drop me a PM if you are visiting the skate-third-world...
