UNION |ˈyoōnyən| ; a club, society, or association formed by people with a common interest or purpose................. the progression of winching. UNION PARK.

The Union Park has begun to come together with the face of the start pool laid out and features being added to the pond.
The focus is a progressive environment with plaza styled features including a two teared start pool with round rails and unique pond obstacles such as corrugated tubes, wedges, pole jams and maybe an occasional hippie jump...

HUGE thanks to the latest sponsors who grinded out enough to help make this a reality: 12 Gauge - Encore Ink. - Silver Spray Sports Nautiques

It is sure to be an insane wakeskating/camping/partying/chillin weekend open to everyone starting at the Devotid Pre-Kickoff party the evening of Friday, Sept. 4 ! DJ and Bonfire plus mad good times provided on site... and Whiskey...

Twisted Evil

Oh yeah, so far who's all comin? Don't make me start droppin names... Wink

nice to see the sport growing!

To me it seems that a winch park would be a difficult business venture when you look at the # of people who are able to have a pull over a period of time compared to something like a cable park (although you can easliy fit more people in per hour than on a boat).

GnarShredd, This is set up more for private events than for the public. Interseted shops and companies will be able to rent out time slots for comps, filming, etc.etc.
However, the grand opening weekend is open to ALL wakeskaters of all levels, whether you hit gaps and rails or not. Come camp, party and shred with the rest of the online wakeskate community!

Right now it will be pulled by winches but there is a possibility for a 2.0 system to be installed in the near future.

*** ANY wake companies interested in sponsorship packages can p.m. me and I will send you the sponsorship proposal page. Advertising packages are priced at a fraction of the cost for an event this size.***

Its not really a business venture. more of a way to expand the moto-park and bring in different sports and events to their facility. We approached them after going to a snowboard rail jam they put on at a huge local casino last winter. we are finishing the park up in the coming weeks preparing for the event and and have already been discussing the system 2.0 cable for next season. with two winches going its really fast actually. back to back with almost no down time.

If I (devotid) were in it for the money things would be much different. I love what i do and being semi-broke all the time is just a "fringe benefit" of owning a comapany that makes all their own stuff. haha less time counting our money and more time spent riding with my wife and friends.

wow its been 8 months since ive been on here.
ive missed you guys. I cant wait to see some of you there if you can make it. Ive only wakeskated twice this year due the heavy work load i have had. been pretty tough. I cant wait.

Kevin
