I was wondering what peoples opinions are on using fins or not. I spent the first couple years on my first board using no fins because i liked the freedom of sliding around sideways etc. but as I watched videos and stuff it seemed like most guys had fins on. So I put mine back on and I have been liking it. Just hoping to get other peoples opinions. _________________ Shredding the Sea of Waubesa |

| TudFunleybuckets, It's all personal preferance. Some like them, some don't. Try it both ways, and try riding with one fin, and see what fits your riding style best. |

I do agree in the sense that there probably has been ten or more threads on this, but it is a very common question, and the poster specifically said that he searched for an old post, couldn't find it.
Anyways, it's a personal preference. Some people will till you that fins suck, others will tell you that it makes you a real man.
You are the only one that will know if fins are right for you.
I personally don't like them. |

Most of the time, no fins for me. (Integ Lemons Bamboo)
But that is mainly due to the fact that the water is usually calm and the boat is small.
When I get behind a big boat and/or choppy conditions, I want small fins to help track better for W2W. _________________ Your mom is my favorite knee boarder. |
