Shes about 10-12... or so... and she went to sleep away camp, not sure where, but she came back, and was really tired, she went to bed early 2 nights in a row. 3rd night she came down with a bad fever. Her dad is a ER Doctor, and decided it was best to take her to the ER because it was getting to hight and they could not control it. Ends up that she had gotten Swine Flu. Poor little girl has it, shes getting better, and the whole family had to get some vaccination that helps stop it up to 60%. Any way... i thought swine flu was over.... but i guess its still running about. I just think its crazy that its next door to my parents house... and im going on thursday! Any way. the parents and brother are still fine, so they have it undercontrol luckily and it looks like the little girl will be fine, but shes still very tired and groggy all the time. Hopefully she will make a recovery fast.

Yea I heard there were already 11 confirmed cases at UCF alone in the past couple weeks. I think someone told me those cases almost all came from students using the gym facility on campus...

I don't think it went away, it just doesn't get media coverage anymore.

edrex, because it never was as serious as the media made it. 80% of the people dead were either A) Really young. or B) Really old. both having weak immune systems. If people aren't dumbasses and get it treated right. there's a pretty likely chance your going to survive....

All cases of the flu in Australia are now swine flu. It's no big deal, I know soo many people that have it and it's like a less serious version of the normal flu.

GOOD REASON TO LOSE WEIGHT...

"Obesity has been observed to be one of the risk factors for more severe reaction to H1N1" -- something never before seen, Kieny added. It is not clear if obese people may have undiagnosed health problems that make them susceptible, or if obesity in and of itself is a risk.
On Friday, a team at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the University of Michigan reported that nine out of 10 patients treated in an intensive care unit there were obese. They also had unusual symptoms such as blood clots in the lungs and multiple organ failure.
None have recovered and three died.
