So as the title says I am new to wakeskating. I got my wakeskate a couple years ago but was more into wakeboarding but I only got as good as clearing wake to wake and then I knocked myself unconscious a couple times. So I figured you go a little slower wakeskating and it seems like a lot of fun so I thought I would get into it more however the only time I go out to the lake is during the summer months and its about every other weeked for a long weekend. I can get up and somewhat do a board slide and I have tried shuvits and almost landed one but my back foot slipped off. I know progression will be slow since I don't go out near enough and any tips you guys have on board slides, ollies, shuvits, and kickflips would be great. |

Dont move to fast! dont be trying kickys till u get used to riding and have shuvs and stuff and feel very comfortable on the water. People decide they want to progress faster then they should and in turn develop some nasty style. Try to learn all your tricks ts and hs, it will make you more well rounded, learn to ride switch, try switch shuvs and 180s, great link trick and easy! Most of all just have fun! On the shuvs, if your landing it, make sure u land a bit heavy on your heels, and with your hand close to your body stay centered over your board, just keep trying. practice makes perfect.

Another question. What is the standard speed and rope length? I am currently riding at 20 mph and 55 feet. |

always plan ahead and think about what you are about to do. like where dose the board wanna end up, etc
and ride regularly as possible. _________________ The views and opinions expressed here are mine and im well aware that your views and oppinions may not be the same as mine but thats the diffrence between you and me.
