Do a search of the '05 Cassette Bi-Level de-laminating fiasco.

as jboss says, they had manufacturin issues, when things like that happen. people stop buying also alot of warranties will need to be honored. That will lead to no money, no money no company.

It's not just the bi-levels. the small run of 04 decks had issues, which resulted in them having a demand for decks but the company not being able to fill that demand (and also not getting money from selling those decks). In 05, cassette was taking care of warranty issues on a bunch of bi-level top decks when they were really counting on that board and that whole line in general to bring back some money to the company.
