Ronix/New Board

Anyone had a zariel break? one of the bolts went through the bottom deck and the bolt beside it came through the topside of the bottom deck. I want another zariel but i am lookin at other boards like the gator deuce pop, sst, and LF Mod. Zariel was my first and only board...

has anyone skated a zariel and can compare the pop of other boards to it?? just askin cause im not rich enough to just shell out 400 bones on a board i dont know anything about.

ive got one and ridden it for awhile and slid it with no problems. its an alright board, id go with somethin different now tho, like a concave like the LF Mod or an oak. Cocave will probly last you longer and i like them better than the zariel.

ive riden the zariel, duece and many other boards and i love the zariel the most. Ive had it for months now and have it rails a ton and it still hasnt broken and i never hit rails on my duece and i went through 6 ofthem. In my opinion i would just stick with the zariel for a while.

I personally have rode the zariel, mod and the new composite SST, and have to say of the 3 I like the SST the most. The mod didn't release as clean as the other two and the SST still has that predictable bi level feel but it doesn't feel like a cinderblock under your feet like the zariel. Just my personal preference Neutral

416, i dont know i couldnt get used to it for flip tricks, but obviously reed hansen kills it on that board and so do some other people

i was just asking because i think its easier to switch boards without having problems if you havent got to flip tricks yet. otherwise it might mess you up switching to a new board

416, the zariel is amazing for flip tricks.. i had only landed 4 or 5 kickflips when i got my zariel and thefirst dy i rode it i anded around 10.

and ijust started trying variels and they seem to b comng sooo easily. also for shuvs it spins around beautifuly.

I have been skatin since the end of last summer and started back in march this year.. i hit a plateau before i learned shuvs but now i have shuvs pretty consistent and i am workin on i/o shuvs, 180s, pokes, and grabs. I havent gotten around to flip tricks yet. the only reason i kinda counted out the sst is bc it doesnt seem like it would ride like a true bi-level but you can never tell until you ride it i guess.. and i like concaves but i just cant settle for a board with "decent" pop. I was just progressing really fast on the ronix and i definately want a board that pops like it. Just tryin to see what everyone is ridin... thanx for the help

I might be wrong, but i dont think he rides a zariel.

Im pretty sure he rides for a french company, something with an A.....Azonite or something like that. I dont remember Laughing
