I got the same board from buywake and I really like it. It feels different from a regular shaped skate. Transitions into turns are smoother and it edges just a bit more on the aggresive side for a wakeskate. It ollies pretty nice and I noticed you can land pretty sloppy on it (ie landing at a weird angle) and still keep riding. I would almost say it has a subtle snowboard feel to it. Wake to wake is pretty smooth too. I approve of this board.
Dave also posted a review on it. http://www.wakeskating.com/showarticle.php?a=62 _________________

from buywake it comes pregripped with grip tape....this is good for ya cuz u dont have to deal with gripping it yourself....so in conclusion u dont have a choice and it comes with grip tape _________________ JMU |

i rode the swing 39 today and it felt too small for me, also it seemed that even on ollies the nose would dive into the water. i dont know if it was because of the chop or because of the board though _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |

um i liked it ok but like i said it seems like the tip/tail arent curved up enough so if the water is alittle choppy then it will nose dive into the water. so i think it would be fine if ur ridin butter but its a def no go in the chop...i will let u know more if i get to ride it in flat water. also the bottom is weird kinda, its got like a hump running horrizontally but i couldnt really feel it. but it does seem like its seeled really good so it wont get waterlogged _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |

Liquid..if you want someone to tell you what board you should get then just find one of those magic 8 balls and start rattling off questions. You are gonna find people that will vouch for all kinds of decks and people that will bi tch about the exact same deck. You aren't gonna get a strait answer. It's all opinion. The best advice I can give is find a deck by a respectable company at a price that fits what you are looking to spend. I am not trying to sound like a smart a ss. Just giving you the truth. If you want more opinions, then I will go ahead and list mine.
I have been wakeskating since the days of foam pads that bolted into binding inserts on wakeboards...I have taken sawed down wakeboards into skate shops and gotten them gripped... I have ridden a few flat decks by a few companies...and I have ridden finless and with fins...I have ridden foam and grip...currently I am on a 03 cassette 4-trac. I ride with the stock fins in front and back and I ride grip tape. I love it. But ya know what??? It's also the board I am most adapted to.
Any deck you get you will learn to wakeskate on. Most people usually fall in love with the "sport"(it just feels weird to call it this) and tend to progress fairly quickly. So I would say go ahead and opt for the top of the line stuff(ie concave) But then again there is a kid doing wake to wake kick flips on a flat. So who's really to say. Kampus obviously has a good reputation as well as a large selection of shapes. Cassette is the leader in the industry and also has a long history of progression, product and team wise. Not to mention the passion. As for me..my next deck will be an Integrity. I like the way they are doin things.
Bottom line..grab you a deck from a company that cares about wakeskating and have fun. I hope this will be taken into consideration and you can get out on the water in the near future.
Ride on. _________________ "You might not see things yet on the surface, but underground, it's already on fire." |

The swing 41.5's pretty hot! it resembles a skateboard more than any other wakeskate out there. The concave goes right through to the base, so your bottom is not flat, but has toe-heel rocker. This is great for not catching edges and rails. However, there is no tip-tail rocker, just kicktails. This makes it hard to ride windy days, but it still rides wake2wake and D-up's really well. No fins, sketchy skate feel, rocks. go demo one. and the kampus shoes are f'n amazing too
