There was an amazing amount of hype when the integrity board came out and almost everyone loved it, but now all the hype has moved to the bilevel, especially after Morphine's pictures of it came out. So i was just wondering which board everyone thinks will be better once the bilevel is out. Ill take another poll once a lot of peple have ridden the bilevel to see what everyone thinks is better then too and see how much of a difference there is.

i dunno....i DO know that im gonna work my ass off and end up with both boards...
and i think my Integrity will become the rail/ cable park board....but i also love the Integrity's W2W ability, and im not sure how the bi-level will hold up against that.

Its tough to say with out rideing the bi level, but i do know that the Integrity was far far superior to any skate i have been on...

The Bi-level will be interesting to ride on...

Yeah it can be ridden finless. And I doubt it would break for a long while. Thomas said that's been the test deck for a long time (It had crazy rail marks on the bottom of it) and it still hasn't broken, so I don't think so.

Since it's supposed to be more like a skateboard (from what I'm gathering), is it going to break like a skateboard? -in reference to the top deck mainly-

yea just think..this is evolving into a skateboard type thing where only you have the bottom board as yer trucks kinda..and the the top board as yer deck and soon they will just sell top decks cheaper and cheaper because they will break just like skateboard decks do..aaaaaa yes, i can see it now

well yes and no... not to sound like a dick but Thomas is going to have a hard time defending himself in all reality if someone wants to produce one and they let it go to court it could put Cassette out of biz just trying to afford to fight it... and in all reality we dont know exactly what the patent states... you can just file a patent that says i own the bi-level wakeskate it dosent work like that. i belive i heard something about the mounting being the only patent, but i have no clue how much truth to that there is.

I would love to see Thomas sue Hyperlite and kick thier ass, god knows they could use it... but its gonna cost alot of money to do that... something i know Cassette does not have a whole lot of, Hyperlite on the other hand has enough money to fight it and drag it out untill Cassette is out of money and goes under

GOOD. im GLAD its patented. it is CASSETTE'S design, not everyone else's. let everyone else create their OWN design instead of making the bi-level "better."

by patenting this design, it keeps people honest. and it allows those companies with vision, imagination and creativity to create better products than those who merely duplicate and resell with new graphics (read: LF, 484, possibly hyperlite...)

All hope is not lost... Cassette could still potentially license the technology to other companies. This allows other flavors of bi-levels while still padding the much-deserved pockets of Cassette.

livewirelp, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure that's what premiere snowskates did.

yeah, I for one would love to see a non-wood bilevel from Integrity or something. But Cassette still deserves a portion in the end for their idea.

Actually, I thought that part of the deck would be a non-wood material, but maybe I misunderstood something. I guess just wait until they have the final decks out (you know, take it for what it's worth. Like I said, maybe I was just confused).

yea electricsnow, from what was being said i was thought the top board wasn't wood as well. But then again, everyone was talking about the board without actually seeing it, and throwing out ideas.

It would make sense to me if the top deck was wood and the bottom was composite material.

how can you say one is better than the other when they're two totally different boards?
