So I thought I had one all set up in this rad lagoon and it got rented out from under me. Anyone on the gulf side have any knowledge of where I could get set up in one?

check out the marinas around the east TN area. i've seen a bunch that are pretty cheap, but not shatty.

T-Hawk, The Gulf Of Mexico... not sure if there is a gulf in TN. I live in FL. lol

brassmonkey, you can get to the gulf in two days by water from TN

and why not own one
it makes way more sense
if you fck it up its yours!
and if you fck up someone elses boat your screwed

POPTART, Owning something is a huge commitment and responsibility. Maybe when I'm 50 and there is no chance of me just picking up and splitting to somewhere new..

I plan on retiring on a houseboat.. hopefully on Lake McClure (lake I grew up on).

I'd like to buy a houseboat with some friends and live on it for a few years and travel along the coast some.
