Well, i haven't seen esoteric or some of the newer videos. I was speaking in a broader sense. But even for guys like nick taylor andrew pastura and ben horan who have some of the best styles, they still have the front-foot-slams- down-like-you're-trying-to-do-a-foot-plant-and-the-nose-touches-the-water-before-it's-even-done-rotating thing more times then not. If you guys think there actually are some clips that do look good, i would like to see them.

The fifth one in that(water monsters) is decent(i think it was switch too, hmm) and the third one looked ok, but i think how he was edging toeside had a bit to do with it. The rest are just how i described them earlier.
I'm not trying to be adick or anything, I'm just saying that you see very little of ones like that fifth one, or that come close to decent looking.
canalskater, that one is super clean and popped as all hell, but i'm still not a fan of the kick down. |

heywood, guess you should land one right and then teach everyone else who's landing them "wrong" |

To everyone who is against the guy, it's nothing different than when we used to distinguish mobbed from flicked kickies. Oh no, this guy has an opinion on the current look of FS flips. He stated he hasn't seen some of the latest ones and was basing his opinion off the stuff he has seen. _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray |

I respect heywood's opinion and generally agree with his comment. But even more than frontside flips, I think hardflips are really difficult to make stylish on a wakeskate. It's an observation. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
