i dont think think that question can be answered clearly. It probly depends on the riders skills. someone that does flips on a tramp or snowboards would prob have an easier time inverting on the wakeboard. And I would expect a skateboarder to feel more comfortable shuvin on a wakeskate.

This question is like asking musicians which is harder

shredding on a guitar

or busting a sick beat on drums

Everyone has a diff opinion.

HighRida, agreed...but even still, I would say if a poll of everyone was taking shuv would be easier to land once. inverts are definitely more consistent though. once you land an invert you've got it. i don't think you could ever perfect something as simple as a shuv, just to many variations and techniques.

it took me years to land an invert. took only a few tries to land a shuv (but i already knew how to i guess from skating and skimboarding)

It's hard to say because I started wakeskating after I was already good at wakeboarding so I was already very comfortable on the board therefore my learning curve was much different than wakeboarding. My first shuv was a frontside shuv which is weird, but it took me a couple of days to learn. It took me the better part of a year to learn my first invert, which was a toeside backroll (also weird).

For me, an invert is way harder than a shuv. Years later I can now recognize and accept that I have the worst air sense...whenever I'd try backrolls or tantrums, I really didn't have any idea where I was in the air...backrolls were worse than tantrums.
