|
|
| ive been skating for about a year now. been used to riding an 08 LF armada. its just not cutting it anymore. will the catalyst 2.0 be good for learning more things like flip tricks and shuvits and such? i want something that isnt too expensive (not much more than 150) and that has kicktails and a concave. also i want something that has a grip top. would this board be good for an intermediate rider? |

The catalyst has foam/grip combo on the top. I have not tried it but I have the Vinyl and it's a pretty good skate. I have an 08 Horan that I picked up for $110 shipped off eBay and it's the best concave I've ever rode... probably the most overall fun board I've tried really.
What do you like and not like about the Armada? What other skates have you tried and what did you like/not like about them? _________________ Fake it till you make it.

2.0 is smaller has grip tape and i think is different concave than the regular catalyst which i hate.
if your gonna get a hyperlite skate get the 2.0 |

| never rode anything but the armada. to me it just seems like its too small. its a 41 inch and sometimes it likes to sink. and i dont really like the shape/concave of it. i want something with more kicktail |

| ride4frnt, the armada is a narrower skate thats why it feels small. most companies dont make anything longer then 41 now. dont be afraid to go 40 inches or shorter |

| well, the 2.0 is 107cm which is about 42 inch. i think thats the smallest one they make. i found it for 155 shipped. do you guys think it would be a good skate to get better on and ride for a year or 2? |
