best wakeboarding vid

cant go wrong with metronome, underestimated has sick riding but to much editing crap, welcome is good but not enough riding, boombox is also a very good one, and reflections has some amazing riding and a really good vid, reflections is actually my choice, either that or metronome

boombox is really sick. i mean just a really solid video. cant go wrong with boombox IMO.

underestimated was very thoroughly edited, and i do enjoy watching it especially since you can tell that they put MUCH more time into the filming and editing than, say, jack blodgett did in reflections. this doesnt automatically make it a better video, they just happen to know how to make a sweet video. note that this video isnt for the faint of heart...it is VERY heavy on the editing and i guess it takes a certain taste to appreciate. it does have some really solid sections from guys you dont see everyday, and very small sections from guys that you see all too much of.

metronome is somewhat of a continuation of boombox, but with more riders- most notably lyman (sick!!!), santori, and webb. there is some damn good riding backed by solid direction and production of mr. stephens.

i think reflections could have been much better. dont get me wrong, there was some really sick ass riding, the camera work just plain sucked in my opinion. it was just too shaky. i did love lyman's part though, but i did (and do) HATE the music. i dont know, just the fact that the same song/beat/whatever was in metronome a year prior, then reused in this section kinda almost ruins it for me. i dunno, maybe i just like originality in my videos?

all or nothing is a good pick. i actually watched this one at a bar last nite with k-dub and MissJade (for those of you wb.com users) and remembered how good it is. yes it is some of the same riders you see in every video, but its pretty good nonetheless.

again, all of this is just my opinion.

best wakeboard/wakeskate video ever would have to be the decline of waterski monopoly...sure its old but it has stood the test of time. Gets my blood flowing
