give reviews on all the skates you've ridden
08 sst- good skate has good pop its weird w2w at first but once you get it pops nice and high levels out really easy. the concave on it is mellow which i love. only down side is the bolts fall out. and if you make them tight the board breaks easier. and both of my bottom decks start to warp a little after riding a couple times. but its my favorite board i've ever ridden
08 reed- it rides just like the sst it just has i little less pop and the rails are a bit sharper. its about the same weight as the sst. the better thing about this board than the sst is it holds up great on rails
so if you're hitting a lot of rails i would go with the reed but if you ride a lot of boat go with the sst
09 onset 42-to start the first time i rode it the corner of the tail on the top deck cracked it didnt come off because the glue is still holding it on. i like the way ts and hs edge of the board curve up it makes it really easy to flip. but the concave is really deep it dont like the way it feels but if you like deep concave i would def get this board. its a little long for me i hope they start making it in a 40.but its a pretty good board but like alot of bi level boards it breaks easier the a single deck would.
thats my best review so sorry if it sucks _________________ two words

09 LF mod 42-
Sick skate for all kinds of riding. Perfect weight for dialing your flippys. Kicktails are suuuper poppy. The edges are rounded in the middle, progressively sharper at tip/tail. concave is SICK, soooo nice on the feet. The base seems to be taking a NASTY beating from the boxes and rails at ski ranch. It it slowly getting closer to the core....
the graphics are dope, straight 80's style.
my favorite skate thus far. Probably better for the rider who doesnt do much jib work. |

08-lemons bamboo- Coming from riding an 05 byerly from 06-08 I had really gotten used to that board and I was a little worried that going from an almost 43" skate to a 40.23" would be problematic with my wake to wake riding. After a couple jumps I started to realize that this board pokes like a beast, the size and weight work to you advantage and you can really kick yourself in the nuts with this thing, something that was harder with my Byerly. This is probably due to the bamboo core which is really snappy. I also noticed that this board follows your feet alot better, you start to see why Nick taylor does all sorts of 360 variations because this board really wants to follow you with your spins, since I started riding this board I have been doing ollie 3s in th flats heelside and ts i/o 3s, but they are more like 270s. Its also easier to initiate shuvs with this skate too, which I should probably attribute to the centra fused core and the way the board is weighted. It should be noted that I do ride with the CDI wakeskate fins that are similar to shanks, hate fins all you like but I love them.
When I get my arson I'll let you guys know what I think of it. _________________
