San Diego Lifeguards pulled up on me and told me winching was a citable offense and told me to go home!!! There were kiteboarders all around! How can this be! has anyone successfully gotten winch bans removed in their community? I'm really worked up about it, if i hadn't spent all my money on a winch I'd hire a lawyer!!!

we got kicked out of parks by cops, but I don'tlive by an ocean so lifeguards are no threat.

the only rule i could see being broken is no gas engines on the beach(depends on the beach), and if you arent a jerk and winch where/when there aren't little kids walking around everywhere it should not be a problem.

yea bitchin and whinnin to the cops/life gaurds are a great way to slowly get them to accept yall doing this on a beach

try explaning them the pros of letting yall do this instead of being lil shiznitz about it

Inform them that you are "green" water skiing... since boats pollute a ton more than a winch. Laughing

Yea, we just got kicked out of a golf course pound today. They thought it was cool but they had a complaint so we had to leave. they said come back another day Laughing

Alrite so yesterday we went down to the beach ware rob got kicked out and we got kicked out in a hour. They said it is a dangerous water activity Rolling Eyes

When their is kite boarders just across the way and some one wakeboarding behind a jetski. This is BS I have never had this problem before after a year of winching in San Diego and now we get kicked out every time its gay. Anyone have any ideas? Bang Head
