Came up with this new winch frame and spool-- It's way lighter with the aluminum design, and I never realized how nice a releasable spool is
I got to take some pulls behind it today and it pulls alot smoother than the old one.. we have a brake and throttle control that might get put on later, and it might need some new paint but here she is

I like the rope guide. Much easier than a fairlead. _________________ Aaron |

caprice150, yesterday was just a test run we went for an hour after work and I'm the only one who rode.. I'll be counting on you guys alot this summer because Sloth is nursing a back problem and Jay is getting married in a couple weeks so basically his riding days are numbered
We might go winch Sunday for a couple hours, call or text me if you are free _________________ ------------------------------------------------------

yea i'll be down to ride most of the summer, i'll probably cut down to working 3 days just to pay for gas and whatnot so i should be around a lot. haha i had a dream about waxing down that big piece of concrete right before the lower bank bridge last night. did i ever send you a picture of the gap i found a couple weeks ago? it was like a 2 ft. waterfall.
what are you doing with the old winch?
oh yea, bamboo tnt is in the mail _________________

SEND PIC OF MENTIONED GAP NOW!!! Is it in Barton Run?
The only thing left from the old winch is basically the frame, so I was thinking of maybe selling it. Also will consider trading it for a bamboo tnt _________________ ------------------------------------------------------

Mario C.,
The cord snapped and that little spool thing inside is busted so you have to wind it by hand every time
In fact thank you for the reminder I've been meaning to order a new one for about three weeks now _________________ ------------------------------------------------------

So have you gotten to shred it?
I'm curious to know if the rope burns into the aluminum rope guide? _________________ Aaron |

I only used it a couple times because it's warm enough to hit the river now, but I seriously doubt that would ever be an issue.
The biggest improvement has def been the releasable spool _________________ ------------------------------------------------------
