i never said sheckler kills it, he does for sure and im not saying hes a sellout i would do the same exact thing BUT he is a complete douche bag , i honestly dont think the kid understands the point of skating. he is the complete opposite of a pro that is stoked on a sport

yookyle, Sheckler did nothing more than take his talent and use it to make the best of his life. Can you blame him? Regardless of him being "core" or not, skateboarding is his job and as his job, he is trying to make the most amount of money possible to have an awesome life. Who knows what could happen with injuries and stuff like that, so you might as well make the most money that you can while you are on top before you become washed up. I have seen him take some pretty hard slams that definitely would deter me from trying anything else that day, but he gets back up and still goes for it. And to say he is a d-bag isn't very fair. I don't think any of us have met him and he could end up being one of the nicest kids ever. He is basically the Froggy Soven of skateboarding with how he was such a dominant pro at such a young age, and people ragging on him for being a douche, but it seems the only reason skaters rag on him is because he doesn't personify the "grunge/homeless" image that they all try so hard to do. I mean give me a break, all of these top pros are getting all of their clothes for free just like he is. They just choose not to shower. It's a personal choice.
