My old man is after a little boat for a spot of fishing. Obviously what he buys must be skate friendly. What sort of thing should I be getting him to look at. Presumably Dory's? but is there a particular model that produces the best lip? Not sure how many horses are required either so any advice on that would be appreciated!

Carolina Skiff J-18 with a center console and a Yamaha 125 is my ideal fishing/wakeskating boat.
