wakeworld riders choice

I would really like to know who voted 3 hyperlite skates as the top 3 this is an outrage. It really pisses me off I mean they make good wakeboards but they don't make good wakeskates definitely should of been cassette or if integrity has been out longer them there.

integrity wasnt on the choices, cassette didnt have 04's, well they did but they all exploded so how would that justify a spot anyway. Integrity also came out mid/late season and was to underground for wakeworld so no one really knew about them. The only other companys that deserved to be on there this year would have been like kampus or lf but but they didnt make the cut. Wakeskating on wakeworld is none existent anyway so get over it.

The funny thing is that WakeWorld.com is listed on the Integrity website as a comrade ("...Friends, Family, People and Places We Respect...").

Wow! Pretty depressing to see so much hate just because opinions differed from your own in our Riders Choice Awards. That's great that everybody is into Integrity and Kampus and such, but you have to realize that these brands are not accessible to a large majority of the wakeskating public, while Hyperlite and other "big brands" are. Obviously, that's going to play a big part when it comes to votes submitted by people throughout the world.

It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest, as Jeff Shlentz (grouch) has, that the results of the Riders Choice Awards were influenced by companies that advertise with WakeWorld. A simple look at the site will tell you that Hyperlite doesn't advertise with us and we've never received a dime from them, yet they are the company that completely dominated the Riders Choice Awards. I'm not sure how you can draw that conclusion from those facts.

The reason that Integrity wakeskates were not available as a choice for the 2004 Wakeskate of the Year is that Erich told the me the just-released boards are 2005 models. Although there are a lot of companies that released 2005 models this summer, we didn't include any of them in the voting for the same reason. They will all be included in next year's voting for the 2005 awards.

Erich, I'm sorry to see that you don't consider WakeWorld a friend and felt it necessary to remove us from your Comrades page. Please know that WakeWorld will always be a friend to Integrity and will always have a link to their website from ours.
