the course i took wsa like 12 hr class room 12 hr course .. they supply u with these ghetto ass 150CC garbage bikes, but there fun for the day.. it was off john young n I-4 .. it is called MSF motorcycle safty foundation.(800)446 9227 or www.msf-usa.org

yeah i think it was 12 and 12 it was a long time ago.. but once u pass the class u just take a card go to the DMV and they put "motorcycle also" on the corner of your license. and yeah its kinda expensive .. 250, 300 i think

storytime!

I work with a fat chick who bought a moped to ride to work and wanted to get her license even though it's not required for the moped she bought. So she was in training class on one of the crappy 150cc bikes and when it was her turn to ride forward and make some sort of stop, she gunned the throttle, couldn't stop, and somehow fell and let the bike fall on top of her leg.. anyways she broke her foot... but not a normal break, she somehow managed to blast her tibia (one of the lower leg bones!) through the bottom of her foot!!! like open nasty compound fracture styles. I don't understand how that is even possible.

Anyways 2 years later, multiple surgeries later, and skin eating bacteria and infections later, she's walking with a gimp and her calf literally looks like she was attacked by a shark and it bit off her calf. It's gnar. She didn't come back to work for almost 8 months after the incident.

Let this be a lesson to always eat your wheaties in the morning! Very Happy

I recommend these guys

http://www.acemotorcyclepark.com/

I just checked and my old teacher is still there and is a program manager there now. His name is Floyd and he is straight awesome.

I used them back, 8 years ago and have talk two different girlfiends into going there. Even if I didn't need to get my MSF I would suggest it b/c stuff that I learned in those classes have saved my life multiple times, well that and not being a retard Very Happy

edit: also they have a price of $215 which is cheaper than I paid ( I think i got it for $250)
