Okay i know alot of you are doing kickflips now so i was hoping for some advice. Every time i land on the board or catch it i seem to fall back. This is my second day trying them alot other than just gofing around every once in awhile. Anyways heres a video and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Catalyst,
You look like you just need to get used to the landing. I think that is also my problem. I haven't done enough to realize where I am in the air, when to catch my board, etc. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect.
Have you landed one yet? I love the end of your video, that is funny! |

Dave Barousse, nah, not yet. i would love to say i have, but i just can't quite get them. i have been closer than those, but so far no luck. and i didn't get to ride this summer as much as i had hoped, i was so busy getting ready for school and just being out of town. i was gone for all of june, which was pretty depressing...unfortunatly for now, i must say maybe next year cause my season is pretty much over for a while. _________________ I <3 wakeskating |

yeah your pretty close, you've got the hardest part down, flipping it all the way around, it looks like you'r throwing the board in front of you too much(keep it under you), but i think the board is turning because your comming off your edge right before you throw it, i used to have that problem. |

the only thing keeping me from having these consistent is the fact that on landing, my feet seem to want to land right next to each other on the board... once i get that worked out its all gravy _________________ √ |

What is a good way to practice them when you are not out on the water? Skateboarding is similar but will the subtle differences between the movements throw you off? _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

trampoline with your wakeskate (no fins) get used to doing it without bouncing first, flicking not mobbing, and practice secure landings.
another thing i do is use a skateboard deck with no trucks or wheels, and put it on a flat hard surface and use the tail to pop it up and kickflip it. this will get you used to timing without alot of air time. _________________ √ |
