my friend has an actual wake edition and he said it sucks because the water hits it and sprays upward, but it sits on the rear side on the wakes editions. so i figured i would try it because its not as thick on my rear side but it is up by the front. it fits great and im thinking it wont spray at all because that part of the hull is always out of the water. i will do a follow up as soon as it gets on the water which should be this weekend sometime. _________________

winch4fun, I heard that too but i was wondering how it wound work if I turned it backwards so the boards sit in the gunnels instead of stick out. _________________

those racks are expensive as hell. my friend broke mine one time and it was like 140 or something to replace it.
i don't think i've ever been sprayed by mine? maybe i never notice it out there haha |

POPTART, hey sorry i didnt post sooner. i was waiting for my new camera to come in to take some better photos. the hardest part was drilling because i couldnt drill straight it, i had to go in at an angle because its an older model and not much room to work with. then i had to buy a stubby screw driver to hand tighten the screws also because lack of room to work with. all and all it turned out great IMO. its on tight and i dont think its going anywhere. this rack is also perfect for integ or omen boards, other then that you would have to drimmel out the plastic to hold a thicker board (which worked out perfect for me).

BIG shuv, considering its a 2 seater instead of a 3 seater its hard for two people and two boards to move around on it without tipping over. so while one person rides the other drives and has a place for the board without having to worry about it at all. have you ever been on a 2 seater older seadoo versus and newer 3 seater?? if you havent then you dont know what im talking about, for those that have been on both...they know.
and when you say "shoulda bought a sac"..... (i take it you mean a fat sac or some kind of ballast system that the wake edition comes with), again this is a 2 seater. i dont have any room on the rear of the ski for it _________________

a board rack on a jet ski comes in handy no matter what seater it is. we have a new wake edition and the boardrack is probably the best thing about it. didn't even try the ballast just took them off. |
