Just got back from skating for an hour or so for the first time in a while. I can hardly ollie anymore and can pretty much only drop in and cruise the ramps.

At what point should I throw in the towel? I'm 22 and can't hardy ollie, am I getting (*gulp*) too old?!?!? Or can an old dog learn new tricks?

All that matters is if you are having fun.

And 22? You're still a kid. Enjoy it. (That makes me sound like some old dude, but I, too, am 22.)

Waaay to old. You should have quit a couple years ago. If you can only drop in you have no business skating, you should be able to do multiple flip tricks and shoveits to even own a skateboard. Give it up grandpa.

Thanks for the stoke guys. It's too much fun to stop even if it's frustrating.

I know I'm really not that old, but I just got my own life insurance and 401k plans recently and i'm startin to feel that way, hahaha.

88skisupreme, I'm going to stop re-learning the basics and just get after harder tricks. Anything without '360' in the name i won't even bother with. Very Happy

There you go. Also be sure to wear really tight jeans and use a shoelace as a belt, it will never go out of style.

Most plans add coverage for dependent's life insurance, its just enough to cover a funeral though, like a few thousand bucks.
