The spool is always a beach to get right, but just means you'll have a dope system down for the next winch you build |

was definitely a great learning experience for me too, about winch building and myself. i think the spool was the hardest part fasho, so much thought goes into it especially designing something like that with no experience and no idea of the forces present. |

Soulprogression, it is going to be my own little winch park, the spot is perfect as long as the water doesn't go down to much more. |

daniel, I was planning on doing something similar for my 2nd winch project what kind of wood did you use on the sides ? Is it just marine plywood ? _________________ Go Balls Deep Or Go Home |

no it is 23/32 plywood that has been primered and painted several coats.
the water just sits on it rather than soaks in, hope it will hold up awhile. |
