HD footage

i have an HD camera, does anyone know a program that i can get so i can edit and string the footage together? if you think you have a program let me know i can send u 2 small clips to see if you can do something

samcollett, not all of those work depending on the camera... mini dv tapes will work but im pretty sure hd hardrive footy and dvd cameas have to be converted before used in those programs

416, Final Cut is capable of capturing HD footage directly from the camera and will convert to whichever format you specify in your capture settings.

tad, true, i just heard that dvd/harddrive cams were like that, and i didnt say fcp wouldnt work but i said not all the other programs he posted would

I have hv20 myself so i dont worry about it

some people i think have hacked it to work. i donno how but nope otherwise
