"You're born absolutely free except laws of nature. If you drink too much you'll get drunk, that's a law. If you get old you die, that's a law...these are the only laws you're born with and any government just ****s you out of that type of freedom...You're not free. You need a diploma in this country to cut hair. They say if you give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. But if you teach a man to fish...then he has to get a fishing license. But he doesn't have any money, so he has to get a job and enter the social security system. And he has to file taxes, and you're gonna audit the poor son of a beach because he's not really good at math. You pull the IRS van up to his house and take everything. You take his velvet Elvis and his toothbrush and it all goes up for auction with the burden of proof on you because you forgot to carry the 1. All because you wanted to eat a fish, and you couldn't even cook the fish because you need a permit for an open flame. And then the health department is gonna wanna ask you a bunch of questions about where you're going to dispose of the scales and the guts. This is not a sanitary environment. And ladies and gentleman, if you get sick and tired of it at the end of the day, it's not even legal to kill yourself in this country. You were born free and you got ****ed out of half of it, and you wave a flag celebrating that fact...If you wanna fix the pledge of allegiance, put a disclaimer at the end: With liberty and justice for all...must be 18, void where prohibited, some restrictions may apply, not available in all states."

Why are you so worried about us? Have you even been to the states? Seems like all you do is complain about the U.S.A.
Go fix the hole in the ozone, you guys fvcked it up for everyone. Great job dylo, I hold you personally responsible. It's because of people like you that we need all these rules and regulations for abusing the freedom. |

Hahaha... I'm glad I've been to Australia many times and met a lot of your people or else you would be making me think they are all tools.
You used the word "our" but posted something spoken by an American about America. Oh, and last time I checked, Australia doesn't have a pledge of allegiance. So don't try to tell me you're not talking about U.S.A. |

freedom and security are at opposite ends of the spectrum.
If you want more freedom you are going to get less security, and if you want more security you are going to need more security.
Over the past hundred years people became much more concerned about safety/security and looked for the government to help. And over time security kept taking a bit of our freedom. Everyone has different opinions about when enough is enough, but most of the things set up now are agreed upon by a lot of people. Like would you buy food or medicine that wasnt FDA certified? Do you think anyone should be able to drive without having to take classes and obtaining a license?
I personally think the US is past the half way mark on the spectrum towards security. I wish it could be pushed back a bit, but its hard to say what to cut out. |

Stop being such a damn troll. You always seem to be looking to get a rise out of people with your non-wake threads. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

dylo, we don't go around dissing your country man, so let us deal with your problems and you deal with your own.
I'm not sure why you would need to quote a comedian for stupid stuff like this.
Life's not perfect, deal with it.
shizzle like this isn't going to do anything but leave people with a bad taste in their mouth. _________________

Doug Stanhope is welcome to take his non-thankful ass someplace where he can do what he likes, though he has the freedom to speak it even though it's ridiculous. I realize the hardships and atrocities my fellow American's before me endured to provide me the freedoms of today, that Doug Stanhope crapped on. Ungrateful and disrespectful. _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

If you wanna truly be free, go live in the woods and see how much you like that. The freedom Douche Stanhope is talking about is anarchy, which is essentially how wild animals live. Yea you're free, but everyone else is free to cut your head off or butt and mouth rape you with absolutely no consequences. I like the freedom America brings. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |
