|
|
I shipped out one of my boards today and it ended up costing $50. Do all of you guys pay this much when you send it out? It seems to be not even worth it. The usps site said it would cost $23 to ship it, but when I got there because of the size of the box they charged an extra $30. I ended up making $12 off my board i'm pretty disappointed _________________

yea it was ridicilous. i think it was mostly because the box was pretty big, i couldn't find one that fit very well. it was $20 until the dude measured it, then it got hiked up to $50

| when i shipped my cassette to raven it only cost 14 dollars. i'm guessing you also supplied the box that seems really steep to just ship a board. mine weighed 8lbs. |

mine only weighed 8lbs too, but the box was 48 x 13 x 12 and that upped the the billable weight up to 38 lb 9.6 oz.
skimboarder, who did you ship it with? _________________

That sucks, next time do what you originally thought you should and don't ship it, and figure out the cheapest (safest) way to ship it without costing you money. I ship everything UPS, pretty much the best deal, especially if you take it to drop off for shipping. _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |
