It was -20 on Wednesday. My car actually got stuck in it's parking spot because it was like +3 the day before so our backlane was a giant lake...then of course it froze over night and my car was parked in a puddle.

So of course all the tires were frozen in place in this giant sheet of ice. The front ones spun loose, but the car wouldn't move because the back wheels were still frozen in place and the front one's couldn't get any traction. I had to jack up all 4 corners of the car, put sand under the rear wheels and sand + a couple boards under the front ones to get out.

Only in Canada.

Well...first you have to wait until the ice melts...which may not be until late May (ice didn't go off the lake until May 20th last year...still had snow on the ground into early June). The you have to wait for the water to get above frigid.

You can go in May, again if the ice is off...I've done it without a wetsuit or anything...but it's freaking cold...it's one of those runs where you start off the dock, do your best not to fall, then end up back at the dock, then sprint for the hot tub.

miller, Vancouver is one of the coolest/beautiful cities I have ever been to.

Where else can you surf in the morning, then go snowboarding at night?

Today, I am very pissed of, because the single day i get to sleep in, i get woken up at 9 am after going to bed at 4ish, by my roomates smoke alarm like raido alarm clock, hes not here and his clock is locked behind closed doors. And its so effing loud. and its been going since 9:00, its now 9:21, luckly i have now drowned the sound out by listening to some music. But i am still very awake, which pisses me off. Although on the bright side, its beautiful outside, and im going to go study for one of the 3 tests i have next week. FML.
