so i got another gun pulled on me

ive told this story probably a thousand times in the last few days so im going to try to sum it up as best as i can.

driving home at two in the morning, dark back road

find a guy who wrecked his motorcycle laying on the side of the street, no helmet

i call 911, they say they are sending some people over my way

i get out of my truck and run over to the guy, hes unconscious, not breathing, and missing the left side of his face. i have seen some crazy shizzle before but i have never seen anybody bleed like this.

i flag down another car

the guy lets out a nice heavy wheeze and some more blood comes out of his mouth. i try talking to him and he regains consciousness.

i tell him that i called 911 and the paramedics are going to be there soon, hes wasted.

i tell him to stay still and sit down because hes banged up pretty badly, hes too drunk to feel anything that happened to him and doesnt believe me when im telling him that hes bleeding.

five minutes later he acknowledges hes bleeding, he also says he doesnt want me to call the cops on him. i tell him to just relax and helps going to come soon.

he lights up a cig and stands up

he falls down

he stands up again and starts trying to hobble towards me, i cant find my knife.

he starts asking for his keys so he can drive off, i tell him i dont have his keys. he still demands that i give him his keys. the woman who i flagged down proceeds to hide on the other side of her car.

he asks me again for his keys, i tell him one more time that i dont have his keys. he gets pissed.

he reaches in his jacket and pulls a revolver halfway out of his pocket, the hammer snagged his jacket.

i hold up my keys, ask him what he wants me to do, and i instantly come to terms that im going to die on the side of the road at 2am.

he puts the gun back in his jacket

he tells me to pick up his bike and start it for him, i do

he gets on his bike, rides ten feet, then falls again.

at this point the girl leaves.

the guy gets back on his bike, and rides off in the opposite direction that he said he wanted to go.

i dont know what happened to him after he rode off but if he didnt get to a hospital then theres a good chance he died that night.

if he did i wouldn't feel bad.

and the cops never came...

Mr. Top Hat, This is why i have a concealed weapons permit and a .45 with hallow points at all times other than when i'm out drinkin and stuff. If someone is gonna try and kill me, i'd at least like to have chance at defending my-self.

Neddless to say, I'd would of done the same thing if i saw a downed bike...

+1 to you for tryin to help some one out. Many ppl these days would just keep on drivin'

Thats messed that people just drive past. I've called 911 3 times for people in accidents and just ignoring never crossed my mind.

That is insane dude, mad props on sticking with it that long, a gun in a drunk mother fu<kers possession is a scary thing. But the reason the cops probably never came was because of something called a triage. Im not sure of the conversation you had with the operator, but im sure they didnt think it was that important which sucks, but who knows what else was going on town at that moment. Anyway, he was drunk dont wish death upon him... he got his face effed pretty hard it sounds like. Smash
