Jholiday, We should definitely support wakeskate companies, there's no doubt about that, but experimenting with new ideas instead of settling for what's already out there is the essence of what we do. It's really the spirit of wakeskating (not to sound too cheesy) and we should be proud of that...

So while it's great that wakeskate companies offer different types of lock-in apparati, I'd be more stoked to hear that riders out there are trying out new ways of doing it. Does that make any sense?

it does to me, but if people are just going to base their design on what the company's are selling, then where's the originality and then what's the point making your own in the first place?
