After a near death experience with uidzero in 2002, I quickly came to realize the duh-factor of death being a very real and very possible thing that definitely can happen to us... it's stupid but before that I felt like it would always be ok.. but that crash reminded me that no it might not be ok. So we don't drive drunk, or with others who have been, or hell, not even with other drivers we don't trust, too risky. Life is awesome. WANT

sorry for rambling, it's 5:36am and i'm still awake working. good thing I'm off work tuesday.

grandpa was killed in a car accident. im with taku, on that dont do it dont get in the car thing.

Be careful with this thread. This is actually one of the worst topics to hype yourself up on. Personally, it's a selfish act and I don't know why you'd drive drunk. Are you thinking about the other people around you that you might hurt in the process?

Im 20, my birthday is in July, and i have yet to EVERY drink and drive. I wont even have a sip of beer and get behind the wheel, its just not worth the struggle, i dont want to go to jail again, have my license taken away, and have to deal with courts and fines. I just have alot of great friends who are always willing to pick me up, or be DD, and i usually party within 5 miles of my place, so walking is always a possibility, and usually a great adventure when intoxicated. Don't drink and drive, im very proud ive gone this long without doing it.

Drunk driving is a horrible idea.. Its just a matter of WHEN you are gunna get caught.. And it cost thousands and thousands of dollars...

Dont take your "license" 4 granted because it is a privileged to have..

shizzle happens and your life can change in a moments time, believe me.

my buddy went 2 the Renaissance fair down south last week.. Got a litle tipsy was driving on I95 and got into an accident. Flipped his car and killed the passenger.. Now he is facing MAN SLAUGHTER charges..

so do what you will, but you never know what can happen..

Man Grasso, sorry to hear about your buddy. It's so sh177y to say this, but some people have to learn the hard way and there are no do-overs for people like the passenger. The only positive I can think of right now is that his story might save some other kids from driving drunk and hurting themselves or others.

i would rather drive from knoxville to pick on of you drunk kooks up than to hear about anyone driving drunk ( ive done it)

unfortunatly youd be sober before i got down there

Done it too many times for sure but now that i have a handful of friends with DUIs (still in high school) I've refrained from doing it as much as possible.

If someone is about to drive drunk I don't care how nice their car is or whether or not it's their parents' or significant others' , I'd force them into the passenger seat and drive them home if I was sober. Too many friends have been killed driving drunk to take chances.

personally i like to get hammered and get as many young children in my car. perferable around 10 and make sure they dont wear seat belts. fun game you should try it
