Best offroad vehicle ever = Jeep Wrangler
Offroading is super fun, but taking your dad's $60k+ SUV off road is a dumb idea...shizzle like that is just bound to happen. That dent is probably going to cost your friend anywhere from $2.5k+...unless you go through insurance...then you take a hit on your license, etc. |

i know, it was like a dirt road, and somehow his "traction control" looks like it was about to slip when he first gets off the asphalt haha _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Except land cruisers have terrible approach/take off angles and are in general too big for any serious off roading.

| ZoSo, except that the '75 landcruiser is the old "jeep wrangler" type landcruiser and you said that the wrangler was the tits money jam offroad. Which was a mistake. |

Wranglers are decent offroad but to do anything serious they need lots of mods just like any other vehicle so I would say that | ZoSo wrote: | | Best offroad vehicle ever = Jeep Wrangler | is not entirely accurate. |

too big? you obviously have not seen any MWB or SWB models. the SWB especially has awesome approach angles. ever wonder why noone has jeeps in the most serious 4wding country in the world? landcruisers are bulletproof, there parts are cheap and easy to replace.
you wouldnt no serious off roading if it hit you in the face.
oh yeah, terrible approach angles

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
75-79 = lwb
70-74 = swb
Obviously you know shizzle all about your own garbage trucks.
Furthermore, I'm talking stock vehicles...you can mod out just about anything and make it into a fantastic off-road machine...I'm sure if you wanted to you could buy a minivan, strip it bare, reinforce it, do an axle swap, make it 4x4, lift it and put boggers on it and it would be a great off road machine. It would be a lot of work...but hey.
Basically you're talking out of your ass if you start bragging about modified vehicles.
Like I said...pick any STOCK vehicle that's better than a wrangler rubicon for off-roading. The only thing I could think of would be a Mercedes UNIMOG...but they can hardly be considered a consumer vehicle...more of a special purpose truck. |
