| I'm about half way through my winch build and have decided it's going to be much easier to buy a releasing spool than to try and engineer one myself with the limited selection of tools I have. So if anyone has one lying around or knows where I might be able to get one lemme know. (I've checked out the bulletlines one and am just looking for a lower price before I commit to it) |

i have a released winch they built for me a long time ago. after i got the kinks worked out it's great. the spool is rad. you can barely tell you're walking the line out. i did have to use lexan so the rope wouldnt push through the cut outs, and i did a nice job spooling it. i'd spool it first use with a rider all the way out, or use the lexan. just wanted to say it's a nice spool. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. If you or anyone you know is good with autoCAD or solidworks, you could draw up a spool youself and get it cut locally for about $100. _________________ Aaron |

The guy who's winch dI use a couple times had one so I know how nice it is. I'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone had any good deals on one. You never know what's lying around in a garage somewhere.
