basically 32,000$ and 700'x80' is the max setup for the straight line cable. if i didnt have my nautique i'd be putting one of these PORTABLE cables for sure. I have the perfect place for it right now, but no spare $$ it seems like the raddest thing to hit the market since concaves

i'm not 100% sure, but i'd say you can definitely ride by yourself on this thing(you can drown in 6" of water) and im hoping that in the next 5 years these things will be going for about 20,000. no gas, set your turnaround for anywhere on the course, i wish i had a hardcore crew here that would chip in, but no Sad

mojo, you cannot ride by yourself on this system. the carrier does not loop around and just do circles the whole time. it goes to one end, the rider cuts out at the end, the carrier stops and then runs in reverse all the way back to the start and repeats the stop and go. so you need an operator to control speed and turnarounds.

well thats ok. riding is more fun with friends anyway. i do see super potential for cable parks in smaller areas with this system. and i suppose you could lease it to someone in another location if it's home gets cold for 4-6months out of the year.

What's cool about this is that it can allow for a 'winch park' style of tour where LF or Nike 6.0 or someone can buy one of these and go to a bunch of different cities and put on a clinic event or contest or demo or just about anything. I'm sure it's waaaaay cost prohibitive at this point, but the potential is there if someone wants to drop the coin...

i was reading all about it on their site last night. i mean 32,900 is cheap i think. less than any boat used in contests, about double the price of a ski, and redbull used one for that thing on the lake jd jumped in orlando and the projects has one now too

I think the one that is at the Projects right now is the same one that they used at that Red Bull event during Expo? I think I read that somewhere...

And boats are usually provided for events, so they don't have to actually buy one or anything.

Right now the projects has only 1 set up .. there is a box and a kicker, the only 2 people that operate it is Chris Salty and Projects Pat.. but mike Ferarro (wakeboard coach guy) pretty much rented the thing out for a month... but in the next couple weeks there is going to be one in the lake 3 rail park.. that will be open to the public.. i talked to pat and ( this isnt 100 %) but it would be cool if we did it like the standing wave in fl mall.. like 3 or 4 bros rent it for an hour and just you guys shred it.. not like the conventional wait in line @ cable park no matter how many people.. once pat gets back from Phillipines and building the S2 and rails in texas he is going to build a ton of rails for skate and wake here .. we are working on taking some of the old rails out of the park to make room for new ones now.. This S2 is the most fun ive had in a long time riding.. its non stop action, after you fall you are back up in 10 seconds and its a great way to work on what ever trick you are trying to perfect ...

oh and scott a, i think it is the same one, but we have multiple S2's out here.. just not set up jussssst yet.. Smash

Grasso, Nice! I was hoping that the S2 wasn't just gonna fade away into nothing after the Red Bull event. I really like the idea of this, and I think being able to rent an hour of time for you and your bro's to use the thing would be ideal.

scott a, yeah dude, i dont think its gunna fade away.. there are a bunch of people in the industry backing it.. every wakeboard pro has been out here to test it and they all give good reviews.. mike ferarro and all the people he coaches are out here almost every day and love it.. so i think it will stick for a longg time.. there are also people trying to imitate it as well.. but no one can do it as well as the S2... ski rixon and i think the cable park in Tampa are trying to imitate such.. with Pat backing the S2 and showing people how awesome it is, people are buying it and gettin it while the gettin is good !

The S2 is a differnt ride than I have ever had on a wakeskate. Like a crazy mix of winch and cable.
Doing one lap down one lap back watching everyone ride and switching off like a jam session is so fun.

When my foot heals im going back the first day
