What would be your perfect wakeskate rope and handle package? Rope construction, total length, # of sections, length of sections, bridle construction (carbon, floats, no floats, t-bar), grip (rubber, EVA, LG, Microflex, Memory Foam,) bar shape? You tell me - I'll build it, with Stu's approval. |

the cheaper the better. Spending money is for newbs. I like 65 feet off. And i got 2 free handles at a contest works real good.and a free blue skinny rope when i bought a handle off boardstop. Like 50 bucks for all of my rope and handle set up. _________________ http://www.bigotebros.com/ |

For those that care, someone (KC from proline) is here to listen to your feedback and wants to build something you'll actually use. Perhaps instead of listing some other company's product, think of some suggestions or ideas that might be more in depth or useful (materials, lengths, etc). Seriously, how many opportunities has anyone on here had to actually influence the development of a product? And if you actually did, would you suggest someone else's concept or would you want to try and think of something original, or perhaps try and improve a flaw you've recognized after using other products? _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I like soft grip handles. I don't like the straight line grip cause it tears up your hands. So something soft kinda of soft. Some type of durable foam |

Especially section rope lengths, total length etc. You want a super durable spectra fusion line? Or maybe coated? I see some guys riding 13" bars w/ rubber grip. Do you need a 15" or 17" bar? Do smaller handles help? Do big handles get in the way? I can throw together any grip on a combo but I'm looking for something built for wakeskating that encompasses all the unique qualities desired for a wakeskate combo. |

make a coated line that doesnt bunch up.
also im with scott, make the old premier churro handle. LF is making the old hardline stuff now because everyone wanted it. everyone wants that handle but no one offers it.
other then that i like all the proline handles. i want to try the new handle you guys have with the lg on the synthesis. i forget what it is called. i just wish the material didnt bunch after a few sets. |

I think coating isnt needed. It usually just breaks off eventually and it doesnt really help the rope at all. We are using a Byerly rope and handle right now and it has no coating and doesnt get all F'ed up. Feels good going through your hands in the water too. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

any handle that FLOATS! mine always get caught on random underwater stuff that usually involves diving 10ft down to unhook it,
last handle i bought had like a really durable baseball type grip and i hated it! it constantly tore my hands up, so something with either a rubber or foam grip with an 15" handle would be preferable, and if the handle could have a bright color that matches the rope would be great so it could be spotted easier in the water
in terms of rope anything non stretch with a coated line would be awesome!!! that coated line seems to help alot when retards run over my rope
any other questions i'd be happy to throw my input on |

my 2 cents, foam, rubber, space age polimer or whatever you decide to use as handle material make it either a one piece design or have the foam sealed toward the back. This would prevent the handle's foam from unsealing when the rope/handle is dragging to pick up the fallen rider _________________ Part of the Lifestyle

dark colored ropes are bad! We have a black line now and other than the white handle, you have no idea where it is. Luckily the handle floats but trying to find a lil white handle in dark water, not always easy. _________________ Fake it till you make it.

I would go with a rubber handle because the foam gripped handles dont seem to last over a week without the foam comming off. _________________ think for yourself question Authority |
