nick, i never sky dived before but that video made me want to...badly. Where do we get a couple of those squirrel suits? When the guy is flying and then does a flip and goes back to flying, sooooo sick. And when he is 2 feet from a freaking mountain soaring like a bird at 100 mph ZOMGZZZZZ

I guess to fly a wingsuit you're supposed to have 200+jumps in a year and a half period( or over 500 jumps over time) and be really proficient at tracking without a suit on. Guess it's good it's regulated because alot more people would be dead from doing it without the proper skills.

I wonder what the percentage of horizontal movement to vertical movement is with the wing suit, the X to Y ratio so to speak. How much do you think they are actually falling verses flying?

Im suggesting that the ratio would differ according to strength, ie the abilty to hold that flying position at 100 mph. But it probs wouldn't be more than 5:1 ratio (distance to height), i mean the wing span isnt big enough apposed the weight of a human (look at the weight and size of a glider). If only humans could have the same weight distribution as birds, then we could truly fly.
I wish i could fly lol

PS i could be very very wrong BTW this is just my un educated opinion
