Buddy just bought a no name winch for 500... looks and runs great, but we are having a serious problem tryin to get some one up... it has a 6.5hp motor on it and 600ft of line. can someone give me some help like if it needs a bigger motor or somethin

| well deep water starts dont work for s#it...note* this is my first time ever winching* and the throttle control sucks like it either slow or full throttle... it just seems like it does not have enough power but i thoought 6.5 was enough |

| Montgomery, i weigh 160... i didnt but my bro tried a dock start with his wakeboard and it still didnt work. i tried a running start in a ditch witch didnt work. the throttlr control sucks if we could just ease up to speed we might get it but it just jumpes to full throttle |

hmmmm before I got mine to deepwater start me I had to dock start or else it would just basically drag me through the water but now that I have the gearing right it yanks my @ss right out of the water with no problems. Got any pics of your setup ? _________________ Go Balls Deep Or Go Home |

| Montgomery, thats what it does to us on deep water starts... hmmm how big of a sprokets do you have on yours? cuz i told my buddy yesterday maby a bigger sproket would help... i will try to get some pics up later cuz its at my buddys house |

how much does a TAV2 cost you? and shoule 6.5hp be enough to get us up?

if its a 6.5 i would atleast use a 60 tooth sproket on the axle. anything less basically is too weak. _________________ ninja's 4 Life
