...for three point field goals in a single game was set last night by the Orlando Magic in Sacramento, CA. (23)
They also set the record for most threes in a half, a franchise record for most points in a half (75), and an Arco Arena record for points in a half.
Where are the Lakers fans that think they will win Friday night? |

skateonwater, I agree, you guys will have a score to settle. But so did the Spurs, and that didn't stop us from beating them on their home court on Sunday night.
Point is, basketball in Orlando hasn't been this good since 1996 ans possibly ever, because I truly think this team can go the distance this year.
Edit: you are from Chicago, shouldn't you be a D-Rose fan? |

LiquidForce71, You lost in San Antonio, we just beat them in San Antonio....
I hope you are ready for Friday night, it won't be pretty when we come in and lay the smack down with all the movie stars watching.
skateonwater, You grew up watching the Lakers but never got into the Bulls???
How old are you? I recall the 90's being flat out dominated by Michael Jordan and the Bulls. If you are from Chicago, that is simply all you talk about is Michael Jordan this, Michael Jordan that..
Who knows, maybe you are different. |

skateonwater, I was at a playoff game in 1995, floor seats, and I was able to see the likes of Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, and of course, the greatest that ever played...
Michael Jordan.
Dude could take over a game all by himself, and actually win the championship rings that Lebron and Kobe both haven't been able to do yet, by themselves.
As for the game, we won, and had a stellar team ourself. Penny Hardaway, Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant, and Shaq!
We ended up losing to Hakeem the Dream in the Finals though. =/ |

LiquidForce71, Really, care to explain how Andrew Bynum is going to stop Dwight Howard?
Oh and the whole game being in LA doesn't really matter, considering we are the best road team in the league.
Did you know that whoever wins tonight, holds the best record in the NBA.
Anyways, you aren't going to win. We are going to drain 3's all day because the Lakers don't play any defense, and Dwight is going to dominate the paint. If Kobe doesn't score at least 40, LA has no chance.
You can quote me on that. |

wow, I dont even know where to start.
dwight howard is in my opinion the best center in the league right now.
But the Lakers are the best team.
The lakers wont have to stop Dwight in the paint to beat the Magic. They just have to play their game. The question is how are the Magic going to stop the Lakers?
And Jordan didnt win rings by himself, he had an amazing team each year. My favorite thing about watching old Jordan footage is how relaxed the refs where about calling fouls. Basketball was a much tougher sport in the 80's and 90's. |

Bynum played 12 minutes, and Gasol had just 11 points.
Kobe went off, yes, but that has to happen again tonight for them to win. And the way we are shooting the ball right now, particularly from 3 point land, I just don't see the Lake show winning. Not to mention we just beat the Spurs in SA, and the Lakers just lost in SA. |
