Holy hell I love surfing... Today I was out from 1 til 6 without stopping = I'm dead right now.

I am riding a different board than I usually do, it's a 5'10 Goodrum from the 70s and it shreds my life... I felt like Gavin Beschen out there Rolling Eyes

Is anyone else enjoying this shitacular weather?

I was out there but I suck at surfing so I got worked. And I only had on a shorty so my arms were numb and dead tired by the time I stopped. But I had fun.

Surfed Hollister Ranch Yesterday, omg epic. Swell didnt really show in santa barbara today but i heard that other places were firing. Rincon was eh, ok. But this next week looks like it should be pretty good.

nick, i wish. too many great whites on the CA coast. food chain scares me man. i lived in Carmel, CA for 4 years and had friends who surfed everyday. they tried and tried to get me out there but my ovaries were too large.... surfers get zero respect for what they endeavor.

Nick, I have a Goodrum board that my buddy gave me, ITs like a thruster for fat dudes.... I haven't surfed it yet, i'm pumped to though.... That's hella funny.

had some fun shorepound barrels the other day up north of the cape, nothing special but some fun waves, hadn't been out there in a couple weeks

Nick D and I went surfing on Saturday in Playalinda , I rode my 6'6" CI Retro Fish and had a blast. Some good head high sets came through but the winds went south w in the afternoon and kinda messed it up.

I'm in surf mode this year for sure, can't wait for the next swell. Birthday

nick, where'd you surf. I'm going out today after class, should be waist to chest here in SoFla possible offshores. I'm heading to Saint Martin December 22-28 and my dad got me a surf guide for the week. They have a power cat to hit up all the outer reefs and sh*t. Soooooo stoked (i know you hate this word but it truly belongs in this sentance)

Saturday was the most amazing day at playalinda. Not in the water, but chilling in the sand. Definitely my favorite day at the beach all year so far.

And for the record, I LOVE the word stoke. I thought it was being over-used and not even in the right times. I would be hella stoked to hit the outer reefs of St. Martins Smash

I was at a beach break (but didnt get to surf since I was on call Sad

) in norcal on saturday that had perfect 9-12ft barrels. glassy, slight off shore winds, warm and sunny. it was the best surf i've ever seen in my life by far. i was speechless just watching it from the shore. someone was seriously bit by a man in the grey suit about a year ago.. but that hasnt cleared the line up any. I heard it was supposed to be 15ft+ yesterday Shocked

I drove up the coast about 15 miles to check out another spot.. it was completely closed and blown out. The ocean is funny like that.
