read the thread, the webcam got shut down when the cops go into his room. that happens around page ten. people pretty much just egg him on until then.

I saw the most fvcked up thing I've seen on the internet the other day. Some chick that calls herself Zombie Girl is into EXTREME cutting. She literally cut her entire leg/arm open, took pics, and then sewed it back up. She has about 100 pics of her doing stuff like that Neutral

I work for an ISP and I routinely get copied on AUP complaints and emergency emails from law enforcement trying to get physical street address information and phone numbers of these internet suiciders. Most of the time they call but sometimes email is just as fast.

Once the cops have the IP address, a quick ip lookup tells them which ISP that suicider is a customer of, then a call to the ISP with a subpeona gets them the physical street address and telephone number to their house. These situations happen more than you'd think. Most of the time they never actually kill themselves though, and the cops get there in time to get them help.

Sometimes it's been pranks, luckily... but the cops will show up at your house and don't particularly think it's funny.

just read the thread, ignore the video. the webcam doesnt work because everything happened live and then the camera was shut off, nothing was actually recorded.

it leaves me speechless that people go and encourage someone to take their life..

and it's also pretty sad to think what if it happened on this site... would we encourage our friend to seek help? would we affirm them? would we say positive things to them? would we get off our butt's to help?
or would we be "e-thugs" and talk trash to them? would we try to be "hard" and say some stupid stuff to them? or even worse... would we challenge them? would we tell them to do it, would we dare them?

ask your self honestly, what would you do if someone on here posted that they were contemplating suicide?

i sincerely hope that all of you would do the right thing.
