| Disney just released the casting info today, so they haven't started filming yet and it'll be a hot minute til it is out. Still, seeing Depp's and Burton's names officially with it gets me hyped. |

The original was gay. The only thing better in the original was the oompa loompas, the one guy in the remake was creepy as fvck.

The remake would have been amazing if the first one didn't already have such status... and if the score didn't suck... The original one was almost comforting to trip to because the music was so mellow and complemented the eerie candyland's crazy visuals very well...
The remake's music and emphasized computer-generated graphics made the whole thing feel like a demented rave... especially while tripping.
