Tell Your Parents You Love Them Every Day, Please

I know it's a wierd topic heading, but today is a really shittey day for me and if there is one thing I want to get across to anybody it is what the heading says. Sept 26th is the anniversery of my dads passing. It's been 9 years since that day and not one goes by where I don't think of him.. After we lost my mom/his wife at a yound age(21years ago and I'm 30), we really realized how important and vital we were to each others existance. Not that we didn't before that but it really drove the point home. After that there wasn't a day we didn't say "love you" to each other. We both knew that it didn't have to be said but we did anyway because we knew what it meant to each other. So please, for me and my folks who can't say it to one another anymore, say it to your parents today(and thereafter) because trust me, it will bring a huge smile to their face and an equally big one for your soul. Thanks ya'll

The 25th (yesterday) is the anniversary of my dad's death back in 2001, so I definitely feel you on this subject man. None of my family really said I love you until the day it happened. That's the last thing I heard him say, and now its a regular thing. I can't imagine life without the rest of my family.

Good luck on a tough day, friends and family are the best remedy for a broken heart.

I tell my parents i love them and kiss them on the cheek whenever i leave anywhere. Now that i live in orlando, i text them i love you before i go to bed.

I tell my parents I love them everyday. Family can't be taken for granted. I hope both of you have at least a decent couple of days during a hard time.

Classy, no offense, but if you're trying to to be funny you're not. If you can take something that someone said from deep within the heart with the pure intention of maybe shedding some light and helping some people(no pitty wanted at all), and instead turn it into a joke, well then man I feel sorry for you.
