bromfutter, yes, samm, or any blank there cheaper and better, and when you buy a plan b you look like a poser so, go with a blank

LiquidForce71, how does riding any skate deck make you look like a poser?

but i agree with you, i only ride blanks, and occasionally i'll pick up a baker.

what advantages and disadvantages are there with wider boards (like an 8 in wide rather than a 7.5 in wide deck)?

LiquidForce71, i feel you there haha

but to add to my original post

back when i skateboarded alot i used to skate pop-lite blanks, they were good boards, lots of pop, pretty nice concave.

buuut, i've nevvver skated a board that flipped like a baker. first baker i got was the baker3 logo board, when i first got it was i flicking almost triple kickflips on that thing. definitely give baker a try

i ride between a 7.9 and 7.7 i love the slow rotation because i flick everything really fast so the wider board helpes me and i have skated my friends 7.25 and i hate it

i skate 7.75's and i like to try a new brand of deck each time, probably my favorite one was a mystery, my current almost is sick and will last a long time with their impact support

Anti Hero and Black Label are decks that i like. On a few BL decks (i'm not sure if they trademarked it or whatever), they had some sort of pbt or hard plastic on the base. Slid perfectly, added a bit of durability too.

i prefer 8.0 and wider because of the room my feet have to move and, like someone else said, i flick things really fast so the wide deck slows it down a bit in a way.
